1. Printer Parts

  • Control Panel: This is where you see all the important information. The power button, Wi-Fi status, number of copies, and ink levels.
  • Lights and Buttons: They notify you if there’s an error, paper is missing, or ink is low. You can also resume or cancel tasks with just a button.

2. Loading Paper

  • How to load paper? Lift the input tray, adjust the paper guides, and load a good stack of sheets (not just one). Lower the output tray, and you’re good to go!

3. Printer Connection

  • With or without Wi-Fi? You can connect it to a Wi-Fi network using the HP Smart app, with or without a router. If you prefer, you can also connect it with a USB cable.

4. Printing

  • From any device: Use the HP Smart app from your phone, tablet, or PC to print easily. You can even use Wi-Fi Direct if there’s no nearby network.
  • Tips: Make sure you have enough paper and that it’s properly aligned in the tray. Also, check the ink levels if you notice any drop in print quality.

5. Scanning and Copying

  • How to do it? Place the document face down on the scanner glass and use the app or the buttons on the printer to scan or copy. It’s that easy!

6. Cartridge Management

  • Ink always ready: The printer will notify you when ink levels are low, and you can order new cartridges directly from the app. Remember to replace them when the print quality becomes poor.
